Jared Browne is the Global Head of Privacy and AI Governance for the Fexco Group. Originally a philosophy graduate, he is a qualified lawyer, holds a master’s degree in Privacy & Technology Law, and is a recognised, international speaker and writer on AI and AI governance. Jared is a former member of the EU AI Office’s GPAI Code of Practice working group in Brussels. He is also the Chair of the CEDPO AI Working Group in Brussels; and he is the former Chair of the Irish Association of Data Protection Officers. Furthermore, Jared is a former member of the AI & ML Working Group of a major international think tank, the Future of Privacy Forum in Washington DC. He also lectures on AI with the Chartered Accountants Institute Ireland and is a passionate advocate for human-centred AI adoption.
