Declan is currently serving as the Head of Group Treasury at DCC plc since December 2022 and has a proven track record of leadership and strategic oversight in the finance and energy sectors. Prior to his current role, Declan held several key positions at DCC plc, including Finance Director for DCC Retail & Oil and Head of Commodity Risk Management. His tenure at DCC spans ten years, during which he has significantly contributed to the company’s financial strategy and risk management practices.
Before joining DCC, Declan served as the Group Financial Controller and Head of Risk Management at Topaz Energy Ltd, where he played a crucial role in managing financial operations and mitigating risks. His career also includes valuable experience as a Compliance & Risk Manager and MLRO at Merrion Capital. Declan is a Chartered Accountant and trained at KPMG.
