Gareth Condon heads the Fraud Risk management function in Barclays Europe, incorporating Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Private Banking and Consumer Banking. Gareth has worked with Barclays since the establishment of Barclays Europe on 2018, initially supporting the transfer of business from the UK, establishing a EU based Fraud Risk team for Barclays.
Gareth has over 30 years Fraud Risk experience leading teams in Bank of Ireland, Bank of Scotland, PayPal and Tesco successfully supporting these organisations mitigate fraud risks, resolving several high profile fraud risk events, whilst maintaining a customer centric approach to fraud risk management.
Gareth moved to Ireland over 25 years ago and lives in Dublin with his wife and 2 children.
