Daragh Byrne, FCCA, is Managing Director of the Bristol-Myers Squibb European Treasury Centre, with responsibilities across EMEA and Asia Pac. He brings more than 20 years of Treasury experience within Bristol Myers Squibb. Prior to this role, Daragh served as Treasury Controller, where he oversaw treasury controllership activities within the company’s Global Financial Services organisation.
Throughout his career, Daragh has been a driving force for automation and simplification across treasury and accounting operations, streamlining processes to improve efficiency, control, and scalability. His work is heavily focused on minimising foreign exchange exposure while optimising interest income and funding costs, ensuring the company’s global liquidity is managed both prudently and effectively.
