Colum Lane is Vice President and Assistant Treasurer at Pfizer, overseeing Capital Markets, Capital Strategy, Treasury Planning, Risk Management, International Treasury, U.S. Treasury Operations, and Digital.
Reporting directly to the SVP, Treasurer, Colum leads strategic initiatives across the company’s capital structure, long-range planning, and business development support.
Colum began his career in Dublin’s IFSC as a Trader and Investment Manager before transitioning into Treasury Management consulting. He joined Pfizer in Dublin in 2005 as Portfolio Manager for corporate cash reserves and relocated to corporate headquarters in New York in 2008. In New York he had the opportunity to work in several Treasury functions, including Risk Management, Pensions, Capital Markets and he was appointed Assistant Treasurer in 2015. Colum relocated his family to Dublin in 2023 but continues to work in a global capacity at Pfizer.
A graduate of University College Dublin (UCD), Colum holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Studies from UCD. With over 30 years of experience in capital markets and multinational corporate finance, he brings deep expertise in global asset management, treasury planning, and risk mitigation.
