Dr Alan Ahearne, Economist, NUI Galway and Member of the Central Bank Commission.
An economics lecturer at NUI Galway, Alan is also a Member of the Commission (Board) of the Central Bank of Ireland and is a research fellow at Bruegel. Alan served as Special Adviser to the former Minister for Finance Brian Lenihan from March 2009 until March 2011. Previously, he worked as a Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Board. Alan holds a Ph.D. in economics from Carnegie Mellon University.

Leading the Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice in the Irish firm, Fergus advises the audit committees and boards of directors of a number of publicly listed companies on accounting and financial reporting matters. He has extensive experience on GAAP conversion projects and specialised in advising on accounting for remuneration plans and business combinations. Fergus is a member of the ACCA's Global Corporate Reporting Forum.

Jonathan Curry, Chief Investment, Liquidity, HSBC Global Asset Management
Jonathan is Global CIO for the Liquidity business and has been working in the industry since 1989. Prior to joining HSBC in 2010, Jonathan worked as Head of European Cash Management at Barclays Global Investors. A Board Member and Chair of the Technical Committee of the Institutional Money Market Fund Association, the industry association for AAA rated money market funds, he is also a member of the Bank of England's Money Market Liaison Group.

Barry Dempsey, Group Treasury Manager, Greencore Group plc
With Greencore, the international convenience foods company, since 2007, Barry’s areas of responsibility include all aspects of the management and reporting of the company’s net debt, and related interest rate and foreign exchange rate exposure. Barry began his career with Bank of Ireland Global Markets, joining their Graduate Training Program in 2000. He spent five years in BOI, before joining Citibank. Barry holds an honours degree in Agricultural Science from UCD.

Dr Donal Donovan, former Deputy Director, International Monetary Fund (IMF)
Recently appointed to the Irish Fiscal Advisory Council, Donal is a journalist and regular TV, radio and media commentator. He published a number of opinion pieces on the IMF/EU bailout in the Irish Times, etc and was a member of the investigation team that produced the Governor of the Central Bank of Ireland’s report to the Minister for Finance on the Irish banking crisis in 2010. He is currently adjunct professor at the University of Limerick and a visiting lecturer at Trinity College Dublin (TCD). Donal holds a B.A. from TCD and a Ph. D. from the University of British Columbia.

This has involved advice on bank, bond, credit ratings and derivatives across investment grade, leveraged, structured, property and project finance credits. Swagata has advised UK Government, private equity houses: Blackstone and 3i, infrastructure funds: Canadian Pension Plan, Macquarie, JP Morgan, Ontario Teachers and UBS. Swagata is a qualified chartered accountant and holds a BA in Economics, Cambridge University.

David Guest, Chairman, Green IFSC Steering Group
Also Chairman of the Banking and Treasury Group at the Department of the Taoiseach, David has been involved in the IFSC development since 1991 and was formerly CEO of ABN AMRO international treasury. Previously Country Manager of ABN AMRO Ireland from 2003-2009, he was with Ulster Bank Global Transaction Services until July 2011 and now serves on the boards of Merrill Lynch International Bank and EAA Covered Bond Bank. A former director of the Irish Stock Exchange, he is a council member of the Federation of International Banks in Ireland and holds degrees from Trinity College Dublin and UCD as well as a diploma in Company Direction (Institute of Directors).

Brian Hayes, TD Minister of State
Brian Hayes is an Irish Fine Gael politician. He is currently a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin South West constituency and also the Minister of State at the Department of Finance. Brian was born in Dublin. He was educated at Garbally College, Ballinasloe, County Galway; St Patrick's College, Maynooth and Trinity College, Dublin. South Dublin County Council between 1995 and 2003.
In December 1995, he was nominated by the Taoiseach, John Bruton, to the 20th Seanad Éireann, where he was appointed Government spokesperson on the Environment. He was first elected to Dáil Éireann at the 1997 general election for the Dublin South West constituency. He was immediately appointed Fine Gael spokesperson on Housing, House Prices and Urban Renewal. In a reshuffle of the Fine Gael front bench in June 2000, Brian was promoted as Front Bench spokesperson on Northern Ireland. Between 2001 and 2002 he served as Fine Gael's Front Bench spokesperson on Social and Community Affairs. In 2002 he was elected to Seanad Éireann, where he served as Fine Gael party leader and spokesperson on Defence and Northern Ireland.
At the 2007 general election he was elected to the Dáil on the first count in the Dublin South West constituency. He was party spokesperson for Education and Science from 2007–2010.
In October 2010, he was appointed as party Deputy spokesperson on Finance with special responsibility for Public Expenditure.
In March 2011, Brian Hayes was appointed by the Taoiseach Enda Kenny as Minister of State at the Department of Finance with special responsibility for Public Sector Reform and the Office of Public Works.
On 28 July 2011 the Government terminated his existing assignment as Minister of State and newly assigned him as Minister of State at the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform with special responsibility for Public Service Reform and the Office of Public Works with effect from 29 July 2011.
On 19 October 2011 Minister Hayes was assigned additional duties by the Government as Minister of State at the Department of Finance with special responsibility for international tax issues and customs reform. This is in addition to his responsibilities for public service reform and the OPW at the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform.
